How To Turn Tax Receipts Off

Tax receipts are on by default. This means your donor will always receive a tax receipt unless you turn this feature off.

If you need to turn this off, navigate to your Customizations page. At the bottom of the page, there is a section titled “Tax Receipt.” This will be on unless you have previously changed it. To turn it off, click on the toggle button next to “Send Tax Receipts.” You can turn tax receipts back on at any time. 

You may choose to turn off tax receipts if you want to send your own customizable tax receipts in a different way, or if you are issuing receipts for purchases of tickets or auction items, which may require a more custom receipt.
