Customizing Your Button Code for Other Website Platforms

In your B Generous portal, on the Campaigns page, after choosing a campaign, you will find a tab at the top that says “Element.” You can use the tools here to customize a button for your website and generate a code to paste into your website editor. 

Embedding a Button on a Wix Site

Once you have customized your button, you can copy and paste the code into your website editor to make the button appear on your website. For a Wix website, follow these steps.

In your B Generous account, navigate to the Campaigns tab and choose your campaign. Navigate to the Element tab. Once you have customized your button, the code to the right will match your customizations. Click Copy Snippet to copy the code.

On your Wix editor page, click the + icon that says “Add Element.” Click on Embed Code, select Popular Embeds,  and choose Embed HTML. A pop-up window will open - choose Code and paste your code that you have copied from your B Generous portal. Click Update.

You can now see the button and customize its size and place on your website.

Embedding a Button on a Squarespace Site

Once you have customized your button, you can copy and paste the code into your website editor to make the button appear on your website. For a Squarespace website, follow these steps.

In your B Generous account, navigate to the Campaigns tab and choose your campaign. Navigate to the Element tab. Once you have customized your button, the code to the right will match your customizations. Click Copy Snippet to copy the code.

On your Squarespace page, click Edit. In the top left of any section, click Add Block. Select Embed. In the pop up, select Code Snippet. Click Embed Data and paste the code that you copied from your B Generous portal. The button will now appear on your website. You can edit the position and size of your button by clicking and dragging.
